We are thrilled to share that the campaign has officially closed, and thanks to your incredible support, we have raised £15,000. This achievement reflects the compassion, solidarity and determination of everyone who believes in fairness, justice and the importance of legal advice for people in detention.
To all 105 supporters who donated and everyone who shared the campaign, thank you. Your generosity means that people held in immigration detention, often separated from loved ones and unsure of their rights, will receive the urgent legal advice they need to apply for bail.
We also extend our sincere gratitude to the match funders whose commitment doubled every donation throughout the campaign. Their contribution amplified your support and helped us exceed our initial target. This collective effort has made a tremendous difference.
Every year, our advice line receives more than 8,000 calls from people in detention seeking free legal advice. Access to justice in detention is at a record low and the need for reliable, independent legal support has never been greater.
