The Home Office recently announced plans to reopen Campsfield House as an Immigration Removal Centre. A pre-procurement notice has been issued stating that commercial partners will be sought to manage the site with an operating capacity of 400, with a 6-year contract extendable for up to a further 2 years, for an estimated £227 million.
