We are delighted to let you know that we have secured a place at the Virgin Money London Marathon 2018 taking place on 22nd April 2018!

Since the first London Marathon in 1981, runners in the race have raised more than £830 million for charity, making it the largest annual one-day fundraising event in the world and 2018 will be the first time that BID has a runner! If you would like to compete for the place, please email us with reasons why we should give the place to you along with a pledge for the amount you will raise.

We ask that you aim to raise at least £3,574 (£1 for each person that we assisted in the last year) so please bear this in mind when applying.

We will support you step of the way. You will receive:

  • A fundraising pack full of tips and advice
  • A free year’s subscription to Mbition – an adaptive training plan that creates a personal plan built around your fitness, goal and schedule. It then flexes and uniquely adapts each week as you progress and has fantastic features like a coaching team on hand to answer your training questions via their In-App chat icon.
  • Regular communication with BID and support with any training and fundraising
  • A personalised  running vest or T-Shirt

Please email [email protected] if you’d like to apply for a place! The place will be announced after the standard ballot in October.
