On Tuesday 28th June our team will be taking on the London Legal Walk to raise £2,500 - enough money to power our advice line running for six weeks.

For many people who are detained, BID’s advice line is the first point of contact for legal advice. Our advice line was set up with £300 and a small amount of free office space in June 1998. Since then, we have supported over 46,000 people with free legal advice.

Now the beating heart of our casework office in London, our advice line is staffed by our Legal Managers and incredible casework volunteers.

On the afternoon of Tuesday 28th June, they, along with the rest of the BID team, will be walking 10km as part of this year's London Legal Walk to raise money for the advice line.

We have less than a week left to hit our fundraising target of £2,500. Can you help us by sponsoring the team now?
