We are looking for an exceptional individual with strong leadership and people management skills, an unwavering commitment to human rights, above all the rights of people in detention, and unafraid. 

The role of Director at BID is multi-faceted so you will need to be excited by a range of different responsibilities and challenges and you will need to be self-motivated. An excellent communicator, you will already have experience of leading an organisation. As well as your people management skills, and commitment to team working, you will have a background in fundraising, knowledge of finances, and writing and editing skills. You will embrace the opportunity to advocate on behalf of people in detention to a variety of people from politicians to potential supporters.
