On Monday 28th June BID will be joining thousands taking part in this year’s London Legal Walk. Our team will be pledging to walk 10km to raise vital funds for our work providing free legal advice for people detained under immigration powers in the UK.

We're hoping to raise £2,000 enough money to power our advice line for a whole month!

Join us for a beautiful walk along the river and through London’s Royal Parks culminating in a street party on Carey Street with street food vendors, fire jugglers and musicians.
All you need to do to register is email [email protected].

Already registered a separate team but want to fundraise for BID? If you’ve already registered you are still able to specify BID as one of the organisations you are fundraising for. If you have any questions about how to do this get in touch.

If that hasn’t convinced you we’ll leave you with the words of Lubka who has walked the Legal Walk not once, not twice but THREE times for BID:

“Following the first London Legal Walk I did for BID they invited me to come along to their annual general meeting, where I had the opportunity to find out even more about their work and meet and speak to their staff.  It was eye-opening to try and understand the current state of immigration detention in the UK - and saddening to realise how little it’s being spoken about. Being a migrant myself, I instantly knew that this was a cause I wanted to keep on contributing to.”
