Join our team on Monday 21st May on the London Legal Walk to raise awareness and vital funding for our legal work with immigration detainees. A 10 km walk through London, this year with two routes: a 10 km park route or a 10 km river route!
Last year the London Legal Walk attracted 700 teams with 12,000 people, raising an amazing £800k for legal advice charities around London and the south east!
Our BID team raised a fantastic £4616.88!
The London Legal Walk is organised by the London Legal Support Trust, a charity that raises funds for organisations like ours that provide free legal advice. Every penny raised by Team BID goes straight to BID. You can find out more about why we walk here.
This year, Lord Burnett, The Lord Chief Justice and Lady Hale, President of the Supreme Court will be taking part too (along with a number of other lead walkers).
Registration desks will be open from 4.30pm-7.00 pm at the Lincoln's Inn Fields end of Carey Street.
There will be LLST representatives at each of the end points to cheer you along! Every walker will receive a drinks voucher at the start of the walk which you can redeem for a free drink at the Knights Templar's indoor or outdoor bars, or at any bar in the Law Society. At the end of the walk there will be a street party along Carey Street and Bell Yard, with entertainment, a food market and a free photo booth.
There is no entry fee or minimum sponsorship but we do ask that each walker aims to raise at least £100.
