Detention and deportation of EU nationals after the referendum and the BID Annual General Meeting
Date: Tuesday 17th January 2017 at 6.30pm

and a former BID client
The vote in June 2016 for Britain to leave the European Union has created a wave of uncertainty for EU citizens living and working in the UK. With detention and deportation already on the rise, BID regularly assists European nationals living in the UK to challenge their detention and to fight to remain in the UK with their families. Triggering Article 50 will set the clock ticking for new rules and regulations that will affect the hundreds of thousands of EU nationals who currently call the UK their home.
BID seeks to end the use of immigration detention, and we aim to help those with established family lives in the UK to challenge deportation.
Join us to discuss the current emerging situation, and how the referendum result and EU exit might change the landscape of detention and deportation in the UK.
