TDP Briefing on Cooperation & Removability
A new briefing document from BID's Travel Document Project on the issue of Cooperation and Removability, offering practical steps for legal representatives and detainees on what it might mean to be 'taking all reasonable steps' or making a 'sustained effort' to be obtaining travel documents in the context of removal from the UK. The briefing also contains information about criminal sanctions for non-cooperation (Section 35 prosecutions) and 'reasonable excuse'.
